Chemistry Overview
Gene Expression is analyzed at PTP in real-time PCR on AB7900. Both TaqMan® MGB assays and SybrGreen assays can be used. Analyses are carried out in 384 well plates by use of Tecan Liquid Handlers in order to achieve volumes reduction, enhanced throughput and high intra-replica repeatability.

Assay Design
Gene Expression assays have to be designed and possibly validated in advance by customers. PGP is responsible only for reactions set up.
What We Need
To perform Gene Expression experiments we need cDNA and TaqMan assays or primers pairs (Sybr Green). Information about samples, replicas, standard curves and blanks has to be sent to PGP by use of a dedicated module. According to the experiment design, the customer will receive information about cDNA and assay volumes to be sent to the PGP.
