Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale carries out diagnostic services for animal diseases, food control activities, analytical and advisory support in plans for eradication and prevention, epidemiological surveillance in animal health and hygiene of production, experimental and applied research in animal health and hygiene, as well as biotechnology research for the production of veterinary vaccines and diagnostic kits.
